The hell? You're an audio guy too Guardian?

On topic, I guess:

Just moved so I don't really have my audio setup in place, so... no pics of that.

The search on these forums is godawful. It is literally useless. I can search for a word I know is in a thread title, and it will never, ever find it.

I know. D: It's just from age.. It's like 15 years old. I've tried cleaning it, but no avail.

yeah i guess so. i don't keep up with things and i'm not that heavily educated on stuff but i used to spend time on a headphones hi-fi site and went through a few iterations of that setup, including a few homemade headphone amps. cool stuff. music is very important to me, so the quality of playback is, as well. unfortunately, i sold everything awhile ago when i was unemployed. i'll start again from scratch sometime next year when i'm all stable.

I am going to post in this thread after work. I love these kinds of threads. Come one, let's make the one that's on NeoGAF weep with envy!

I'm expecting lots of awesome translucent plastic drawers filled to the brim with Famicom games, folks.

I am currently a po-boy and as such I have only a zenith tv, my records, ps2 and segaCD/Genesis. (games are mostly in the box with the CD's on top.)

Nice fat wad o' vinyl there.

I couldn't take these yesterday because the lighting was terrible. Then I went to a chiptunes show and got vaguely hammered.

Samsung 32" HDTV; Super Famicom; Wii; PS2 Slim; Xbox360;
white Saturn (plus 5.1 system, etc.).

Different angle. The tea-towel thing is from Harrod's, and covers
up the deep scratches in my el-cheapo television stand.

Aren't you worried about the magnet from the subwoofer interfering with the 360's HD?

I was just thinking that, trying to kill it?

Yeah it's really only a small amount of music compared to what I desire, like I maybe have 1 album on vinyl from 1/2th the bands I like. Currently I'm without a working mixer though so I have to use my turn table in the living room where my 12in speakers live because they dont fit in my tiny room. Its frustrating.

Here is where I game from with MOOD LIGHTING. Not showing my consoles but I'm sure you know what the xbox 360, a dusty, unplugged Wii and an olde Japanese PS2 fat look like.

Yet another headphone guy -- Bel Canto DAC2 --> PPA --> Ety 4S

The monitor rotates. 24" of 1080p love for $350 in a full-color, fast, accurately tuned P-MVA panel.

Thanks! It's a Seimitsu LS-32 stick with Sanwa buttons.

And I'm not a giraffe. I'm shortish at 67 inches but my desk is extraordinarily low, plus I have my monitor a bit high to keep proper posture (looking straight forward, back extended).

What sort of monitor is this? It looks Dell-ish, but they don't use MVA panels and sure as hell aren't $350.

Oh man, I feel relaxed just looking at that image. Very nice.

Here's my desk from one day when I was drawing in my book. The CN Tower is right outside my window.
