Went to see this last night. Fucking incredible stuff. I especially loved the use of special effects. Sparse, and well-blended in, not the least improved by the use of all the long takes and handheld camera-work [which was masterfully done].

Highlight for me was that part when Clive Owen is running through the urban battlefield, which the camera following after him, and it's all done in one glorious shot. The glances at mourning faces, the spatter of blood that hits the lens, etc... I haven't seen anything that great since the beginning of "Touch of Evil." Or maybe "Man Bites Dog."
