Voting period: Friday, October 26th to Sunday, October 28th

Blue

Post your submission in this thread. Please keep the dimensions reasonable, but feel free to provide a link to a larger version. EXIF data (technical metadata about how you took the shot) and backstory are always fun!

-Photos must be taken within the assignment period, with no exceptions!
-You can change your entry before the deadline by editing your post.
-Do not post any non-entry pictures until after the vote tallying, but feel free to use our regular thread for photos you're not submitting!
-Don't quote images!

VOTING
-----------------
-You can vote using any criteria you want, though, typically, this should be topical relevance and photo quality.
-Anyone can vote - not just those who have submitted an entry!
-You may not vote for your own submission.
-Cast two votes - a first place vote is worth three points, and a second place vote is worth one point.
-In the case of a tie, the winner will be determined by the number of first place votes.
-Definitely make constructive comments for as many photos as possible.
-The winner gets to choose the next theme.

Took me like twenty minutes of standing in that corner with my camera and tripod to get this one right. The same crappy digital camera as before.

I support being creative regarding the theme. Like, if any photo doesn't involve something blue in color, I might vote it.

Oh no, your picture is awesome, and who cares that you were late. It just looks like either I didn't choose the right theme or people were way busy, and this series of threads might die if it's going to be like this. Which is not cool because I dig the concept.

I really want to participate in this, but seriously everytime I have an opportunity/think about taking a picture for this, my camera's battery is dead or dies like--immediately. I should get a new camera anyways because despite having 8 megapixels, the sensor itself is not very sensitive and the pictures look pretty grainy with not very good fine detail (not to be confused with noise).
