thats definitely not a crotch-focused icon
its more of an icon all like 'HEY CHECK OUT THIS COOL GUN' which is okay too, i just want to make sure you know its not a crotch icon
you should have a signature of that guys junk resting on the bicycle _________________

Man that is perfect. Maybe I just think so because it is relevant to current events, but no, it is probably timeless art. _________________

Avatar is a picture I took of Taxes, one of my four cats.
Sig is something I made from a Ren and Stimpy screencap maybe a year ago. I don't remember! It's been a while. _________________

most of these explanations of avatars/sigs actually make the references even more obscure sounding, rather than explain their source or meaning. i am particularly curious about where the baby got back animation came from...
my avatar is a picture of a friend of mine (who i actually know a lot better now than i did when the picture was taken) with a beer can at a bowling alley. i love bowling alley score-keeping computers. the colors are from when rya made everyone matching avatars, i liked mine a lot better this way so i've kept it. it reminds me of the claw from inspector gadget, and is also symbolic of the anonymity of the internet (unless you happen to be from kentucky i guess)
i don't have a signature because i can't think of anything appropriate to use. i've been thinking about changing my avatar lately actually, but i don't know what to use.
*i just realized she's not actually HOLDING the beer can... |

usually I just google-image some word or silly phrase stuck in my head like a candy or snack food or something and look for a unifying theme in the sig/avatar
in this case i searched for "pocky" and found "men's pocky" brand. the pocky ho'z seemed appropriate _________________ o-/< --- o-\< --- o-|-| --- o^-< |

Sir, your sig is excellent. reminds me of one poster (IC) that had a classy goddess (DS 21) and a retro-thing added to it. And, since Lada

, I like it even more so.

I was helping a student with her laptop at work and her background was this ungly painting of an Irish cat with a distorted aspect ratio so it'd fill the screen. "OMG", I said, "can I get a copy of that?"
sig is crude Photoshop of elements of the avatar since I wanted to move the pot of gold to the end of my posts _________________

Avatar is Dr. Langford from Bioshock. Seriously, all the portraits of the female characters in that game are quite beautiful.
Sig is from a Threadless contest in which participants were to contribute a Bioshock-themed design. This guy’s design was the winner. _________________ Xbox Live: Hey Zeus9

Tatsuyuki Tanaka is so fucking great. Every page of Cannabis Works has something that would make an awesome avatar. Especially the 4-panel "story" about the schoolgirl that has a Metal Slug-like tank and works on it after school or something.
I think that'll be my next avatar if I remember _________________ Xbox Live: Hey Zeus9

To the left is Chang. He stands for unbridled strength, uncontrollable rage, and the ability to digest bits of an iron chain dislodged by his teeth. He embodies the anger that permeates every post I make on these forums, for his anger becomes his strength. He also has a midget for a friend, which I unfortunately do not. I hope to one day MAKE a midget friend, however.
Down below is Kenshiro, who embodies absolute judgment over good and evil. Ken does not suffer Internet idiocy and injustice to persist. He renders a judgment, pokes the issue, and makes it explode. If necessary, he also punches it repeatedly and at high-speed while making stupid noises. All whooping aside, Ken is cold-blooded and precise when he administers whoop-ass analgesic to sores on the body of the Internet. He is businesslike, and he gets things done.
The perfect fusion of hot blood and cold blood, these two represent the essence of Benjamin Reed. _________________

look here and there, I vaguely remember that it was one of them...
anyway,
my former sig featured "Airspace B7R" from Ace Combat, also called "Round Table" .. a place where a hero was born etc etc. Always a special feeling flying there, raging among all the planes that are up there. Current ava and sig is obvious though. _________________

Crazy Bacon Lips and Toptube should get their avatars merged or something.
Avatar's a Chinese lady who's resisted big commercial development in Shanghai, so everything around her house has been excavated for construction, so she can't even get to the house. Really shitty.
Signature is a screencap from the LSD game thread. Followed by a Mr. Mustache quote that generally encapsulates how I feel about videogames.
Both are color-altered to match each other, cause I think they go well. _________________

current avatar is a moogle shopkeeper from a game I don't really like that much, but he looked pretty cool. I couldn't find any original artwork so I took a photo.
sig banner is totally spoiling Out of this World for everyone!
my old sig had the otaku gaijin touring in Japan. I wasn't sure if that was getting annoying and unfunny after a while so I swapped it out. |
