I'm attending this event from November 9th to 11th and need a place to stay that's, you know, not total and absolute rape. I probably would have been able to book a youth hostel or something if I had known about the event sooner, but right now I'm apparently stuck with assrape hotels.

Does anybody here familiar with the Boston area know where I can find affordable accommodation that's reasonably reachable to the Hynes Convention Center? (Though I'll probably be driving down there anyway so as long as it's not two hours away I'll probably be able to run with it.) Or, heh, does anybody here happen to live in the Boston with an open sofa I can crash?

Hey, I've hung out with Ed several times before. You will not see his gut hanging out past his Batman t-shirt because (a) he is too thin to have a gut and (b) as far as I know, doesn't own any Batman shirts.

He is a nice dude who, if I drunkenly remember, can play Street Fighter on his phone! And he is Canadian, and thus the nicest guy in the world.

(Seriously, this is me vouching for him.)

Thanks, Lestrade! Apparently most of the rest of the SB Toronto crew that know me have been MIA for several months now. Hm.

But yes! I will be forever grateful if you can help me out. You can have an item of your choice from my soon-to-be-liquidated game collection! And... if I do manage to secure a position in Japan through the fair, you'll definitely be welcome to crash at my place there! (or here in Toronto for that matter!)

Canadian Ed is good people and has a good pocketful of DS games, which I choose to believe he carries everywhere with him.
