Yeah it IS sort of a celebrated traditional Japanese thing over there so I don't expect foreigners are wanted in anything smelling of "art." Actually I really have no idea, hah. That shit with NOVA and etc. is just stuck in my head and has probably tainted my whole idea of finding a job and working for a company as a foreigner in Japan. Though I suppose the opposite could be true as well for a, uh, niche job market like puppetry. It could be a great deal! Just you, the hot, hot costumes, and widespread televised exposure!
