-Do not post any non-entry pictures until after the vote tallying, but feel free to use our regular thread for photos you're not submitting!

-You can vote using any criteria you want, though, typically, this should be topical relevance and photo quality.
-Anyone can vote - not just those who have submitted an entry!
-You may not vote for your own submission.
-Cast two votes - a first place vote is worth three points, and a second place vote is worth one point.
-In the case of a tie, the winner will be determined by the number of first place votes.
-Definitely make constructive comments for as many photos as possible.
-The winner gets to choose the next theme.

That is nice! I've just had a ridiculously awful week. Maybe we should keep the thread up until such a time as we assemble six or so entries, and then go from that?

What if we devise a more freeform system, like perhaps having several themes at the same time, or categories, or something, I don't know, and extending the deadlines to perhaps a month after the themes are out. Also there could be a 'gallery thread,' or something that could be an incentive to participating. Maybe even monthly King of Posters threads.

Just throwing ideas out there.

I'm all for keeping the current assignment up or switching to a broader theme. It was pretty hard to just sort of happen upon a subject material for this theme compared to blue/buildings/structures.

I really like this idea but generally lack the motivation to go out and take a picture.

I actually had one planned for this topic but my subject flaked on me on SUnday so I kinda gave it up.

I am sorry I kinda bailed on the photo stuff. Between the California trip and just general busy-ness, it didn't happen.

guys, i bought the sony alpha a-100 kit. and i went through hell for it too, about three circuit cities and two best buys worth of searching. i couldn't get through via the phone, and the websites all said it was in stock but hell, that was bullshit.

So, well, I thought it was just the camera making my pictures all shit, but actually I still take shit pictures, except they're a bit higher res. I'll participate if there's ever going to be another one.
